Cleaning kit
Just got my first Sig P320x Compact and want to get a cleaning kit. So once ranges open in NJ I will be able to clean it. What kits are good to get.

Most people like to piece them together as they go. I personally think the Kleen Bore pistol cleaning kits are a very good start.

For pistol, I like Pro Shot.
Very well made product.
(I don't know how they make a profit at that price)

You will accumulate more "gun cleaning stuff" and for all of it, this box works very well.

I suggest building one. Most pre-made kits come with cheap stuff, stuff in calibers you don't need, or both. Buy a package of high quality bore brushes, high quality brass bristle brushes, a simple cleaning rod, bore snake, maybe a set of jags and patches, good oil, nontoxic cleaner (MPro 7 or Slip 2000), and throw it all in an ammo can, kids pencil box, etc. You'll probably pay more, but you'll have everything you need. If you buy from a place like Brownells, put their item numbers Onan index card and store that in the box.

Kleen Bore or Pro Shot. I have each and they are both excellent products, I consider them the best.

Anyone use Shooter Lube?

I have two of these. I needed two because one holds all the rod sections, and the other the brushes and various jags I use. I can clean any handgun from 22 to 45 caliber with the two kits plus patches and whatever fluid I'm using.
