It feels almost like walking around with a classic P series with the hammer cocked in single action mode.

For safety reasons, I will not carry a P365 without a manual safety. All 3 of mine have a MS installed. It takes way less effort than a Glock to set off a P365.

YMMV…

Stormin, I’m sorry I left you out. I appreciate your replies about the safety and trigger.

I had the opportunity to go test fire a 365 micro? It was small, 365 XL, and the Legion. The Legion wins hands down. Felt recoil and my ability to keep it on target was great compared to the others. I’m pretty shitty with a pistol, and I know it. I shot the Legion pretty well. Better than I shoot my 228 or my Kimber Micro 9.

The trigger isn’t too weak. It has a decent pull and while it’s lighter than my 228 in double action, it’s not that much lighter. My 228 in single action is very light as the sear and disconnect or have been polished a lot, probably too much as I just took it apart and sanded with 800/1000/1500/2000 until it was a mirror finish. My Kimber has had some trigger work done by an actual gunsmith and it’s as light as the 228 in SA.

So the Legion has a trigger I actually adore as far as weight/pull. It’s right between DA and SA in my 228. I wish it has a shorter reset and was crisper, and I wish it was a curved trigger as opposed to the flat. I guess those are things I will adapt to, or modify in the future.

I loaded my 124 gr relads in one magazine shot half of it and quickly switched guns and it definitely keeps the muzzle down and just feels like it shoots softer. Love both guns but for me I would take the legion over the tac ops for those reasons if I had to choose, worth the extra cost to me.

So, just a question: How much larger is the 365 Legion AXG or X Macro than the basic P365? I've been to a few LGS and can never see all of them to compare. Please advise.

The difference is minimal about an inch for height and length between the P365 and X Macro. Check the website Handgun Hero for more details.

Mong0, check this out. I found this website, and it helped me with my decision.

I ended up getting the Legion. Actually my wife bought it for me.
I’m quite happy with how well it shoots. It’s a pretty fantastic pistol, and I’m very happy with the purchase.
Now I need to pick up an optic, and a lot more ammo. Big Grin

My X Macro has a Holosun 507K X2 optic on it, which is a direct mount. This one is a very nice option for the price. I also like that you get all 3 reticle options standard. The “donut of death” being my current choice.

I traded my recovery kit from my Jeep, for a Holosun 507k x2. Worked out really well for both of us. Smile

Should be here this afternoon. I can’t wait to put it on.

Added the Holosun. When I dialed it in (using a homemade bench rest) I was making 1.75” group at 25 yards.

It is sighted in perfectly at 15 yards.

There are a couple pics of the homemade bench rest. It’s a LaRue quick disconnect light mount. Locks the gun in place and allows you to really dial it in when sighting the optic. Takes most of the human error out of it.

Found a X Macro Comp at a good price. Couldn't see paying double for the AXG Legion variant.

Late to the party, but……

The thing I’ve really noticed about the smaller guns 365/G43x/G48/Hellcat/etc are harder to shoot at a high level. Possible, but harder and less forgiving than their compact or full sized counterparts. Virtually all of the 365 offerings are not forgiving to poor inputs into the gun. It really shows as you add distance speed and complexity.

But, again, that’s pretty standard equipment for slim line guns.

I'm just hoping 12131 doesn't like them, keep him from buying them all. Big Grin
