Found & bought a p229 red box - enhanced elite - 9mm - unfired for $560. Every other one I've found so far has run between $725 to $1000.

Insanely good price, considering what the dealer cost is (at least what our shop paid). We had a couple come in but we put ours out for $100 more.

Wow that is a great prices.
Even before this buying surge hit the last year or so, the prices for Red Box guns had been steadily rising.

It reminds me of CZ pistols, a few years ago very few knew what how great CZ pistols are or what a great deal Sig Red Box guns are.

Now everyone is looking for them.

At that price I would be tempted to buy another.

Congratulations. IMO, you made a pretty nice score. We are going to want to see pics and a range report.
