kaschiNew production Luger P.08 pistols
Ran across this on a post at the lugerforums this morning. Looks to be two versions in the works: one with a 4" barrel and the other an 8" Artillery (has the adjustable rear sight). They are made in Turkey. Just thought this may interest some.

GT-40DOCThat very topic has been discussed many times on the Luger Forum. We all wait to actually see a product.

flesheatingvirusInteresting. I'd be curious to see the price point and how the quality stacks up to the real deal.
My 1935 Luger is about to come back from having some work done; I'm getting ancy.

The post on the Luger Forums is the only blurb on the whole internet. So, don’t hold your breath.

Jim Watson1. I don't expect much to come of it.
2. Why did they skip the handsome Navy model and jump to the awkward looking "Artillery?"

Il CattivoFWIW, they posted a picture or two from a trade show over on another forum. I got interested in a Tanfoglio-like 7.62x25 the same importer (LKCI) is offering, and managed to reach him at:
gi@lkcillc.com
They also have a website, but it seemed to have a terminal case of AIDs when I tried getting on it.
For what it's worth, I think this
may be the company making the pistols in Turkey, if only because of the "CM" logo on the 7.62x25 in the picture with the Lugers in the post over at the other place and because they actually seem to claim to make Lugers.

That ought to move, if all the plaintive cries for a "modern 7.62" are sincere.

Il Cattivo^^^ Yep. I'm always optimistic about stuff like this, but there are many a Tokarev and CZ-52 fan sitting back and saying "we'll see".
I'm surprised cm endustri hasn't put the 7.62x25 on their website yet, but, again, I may have the wrong maker.
