CZ Scorpion, help me dial it in
Dropped my CZ off at the smith. Instead of spending hours and hours digging for mods figured I’d ask the collective who have more experience with the platform. Grip, mag release, safety, all need to go. I loathe serrations and do not like the safety digging into my hand. The stock trigger needs some light tweaking as well. And I want some QD mounts. It has a SB EVO brace and a Magpul AFG2. I want to keep it a pistol for obvious reasons. What do you recommend? TIAFAR.

I replaced charging handle and safeties with hb industries prostock charging handle and ak styles safeties. Much better.

Also added the pmm qd mounts.

All installed in minutes. Also looked at the Midwest industries qd mount for the sb folding brace.

Check out Shooter's Element. I am using their charging handle and trigger along with HBI's trigger springs and a right side safety delete. I also have the Yetiwurks Switchback grip which is much more comfortable to me. The Gearhead Works mag release rounds out the changes on mine.

AK Style safeties are a must.
Oversized Duck Bill magazine release is tops on my list.
I'm a fan of the larger charging handle.
I've got QD Mounts on the front and rear from Parker Mountain Machinery. http://www.parkermountainmachi...QD__Sling_Mount.html

Replacing the trigger spring and trigger shoe reduced my trigger pull by 2 lbs.

On the AK safeties, are you guys doing a delete on the left hand side, or are you putting an AK safety on both sides?

Never mind, got that solved.

CZ Scorpion ProStock Charging Handle
CZ Scorpion EVO3 Reduced Weight Trigger Spring Kit
CZ Scorpion Duckbill Mag Release Lever - Aluminum
CZ Scorpion Grip by YetiWurks
CZ Scorpion EVO3 THETA FORWARD Trigger
CZ Scorpion EVO3 AK Style Safety Selector
CZ Scorpion EVO3 Left Safety Delete V2

PMM is out of the rear qd mount I want so I’ll have to wait on that.

This is a great thread. I didn't realize there were aftermarket extended charging handles for the Scorpion. The little stock one is a pain to grab right and hardly no leverage at all. I just ordered the extended ProStock charging handle from HBI (thanks for the links 06wrb). I have the carbine. Good stuff.

Yes and no. All the HBI stuff, yes. Burke is working on that now. Only parts I haven’t received are the PMM QD’s, but they shipped today. Robert says he wants one now. I’m letting him take her virginity Big Grin

Rolan, is that a folding pistol brace on the top gun? If so what kind is that?

Don't have one, but thought about it. Bumped into this at a gun show recently. Don't know if you want to play the brace game. But if you do, this is the way to go.

Cooger,
It is a Shockwave blade that came on the pistol. I'm not sure what the folding mechanism is.
