Absolutely a smoking deal. Well done. I've had done the same without blinking, even having one in the safe already complete with the .357 extras.

I just brought a P224 in .40 home for $350 and I feel like you still got the better deal.

Looks like a great deal. I would go as far as to say it is a shockingly good deal! How do the rails look? Lightly used?

The rails look pretty good. There is some wear but it is less than my CPO Sig 229.

What surprised my most about the gun is the SA trigger pull. It is LIGHT! I haven’t taken my digital trigger pull gauge to it yet but I would not be surprised if it’s breaking at 3-3.5 lbs!

Fantastic find! My first Sig was my P239/9mm, which I still have and will never sell. Great guns. You did very well!

Edited to correct typo…

Congrats!!! If you can come up with a .357 Sig barrel, your recoil spring and .40 S&W magazines will probably work out ok. My P239 started out as a .357 Sig and my department didn't approve that caliber, so I needed to buy a .40 S&W to carry it. Later, I picked up a 9mm barrel, recoil spring, and magazines and shot the pistol in that caliber. It shot soft, accurate, and functioned totally reliably. Although it's somewhat large and heavy for it's size as a single column magazine pistol, it's still a great option.
