Very nice indeed! Did it come with the Rosewood grips? Did it come with the box and paperwork too?
I'm guess you paid north of $1,000? I got one about 3 years ago and feel lucky to only have paid $750 for it.

That looks really nice.
The duty version 220R stainless is very heavy. Local shop had a ton of scuffed up, rubber gripped LE turn in's for $475 bucks, and it took forever to sell them at that price.
I kind of regret not getting one, but it didn't fit my hand and would require a bunch of new magazine and holster purchases.
Enjoy that in good health. That's a really beautiful gun, especially with the rosewood grips.

Your P220 is not stainless steel but rather some type of plated finish (probably nickel). It is also a bit newer than 1991 as evidenced by the reinforced receiver. Judging from the spur hammer, it was most likely produced in 1993 - somewhere between serial numbers G 211299 & G 219166.

Unfortunately, it did not come with book and box, just three mags, and it came with the original black plastic grips....----cost 700+tax.

You are correct, it is a 1993 date code KD---I miss read it originally, thanks for the correction.

Congratulations on a great looking gun.
I hope it shoots as good as it looks.
I like the looks of the wood grips, but found the black, plastic, checkered grips to be more practile for me. YMMV
