Hi all, sorry if this was asked/answered before, couldn't find much.

I'm interested in adding .357 slide/barrel/spring/sights kit to my P226 Legion in 9mm. Can you please tell me what would be a fair market price for the kit?

I found on ebay a used kit for $450 and brand new one for $500 - but they both come in black. How much would it cost me to have it ceracoted in Legion gray/green/brown (whatever you call it - I like that color a lot and would like to keep my gun consistent color)? And where would someone do the coating, any reputable shops you could recommend me and ballpark price for the job?

Thanks in advance.

$450 is not out of line. Many shops do Cerakote finishes. Doing slide when be in $200 range.

I think CCR charged me $145 to do what you are asking....

Not a legion but was a Mk25 in Sigs Dessert Tan... I had a black 357 upper and sent it to them to try and match the lower... here's how it turned out...

I was pleased.

Be advised this was not an over night or next week thing, it took them I think about 2 months. Seems they are pretty backed up with work.
