All,
I am a newbie to the forum so sorry if I conduct myself incorrectly. I own a fairly old Sig M1911 GSR Granite in .45 ACP. My old eyes need an upgrade to the factory sites. I went to Sig and they have nothing to offer. Im looking for a night site upgrade or something that is brighter than the three white dots in the factory sites. Can anyone suggest the best options available?

Patrick

You can also check out Dawson Precision for a selection of sights. Just make sure you’re looking at the Novak cut sights. Plenty of fiber optic options there.

+++ Novak. I just sent my Ruger SR1911 slide to them for old man sights. I opted for the wide notch tritium bar rear sight. Much improved over the OEM sights. Quick turnaround and done right.

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions. I too got the wide bar Tritium sights and the mega orange dot front sight from Novak. A friend of mine has the press to remove the old sights and replace with new. Really looking forward to them. You guys were great!
