Here are my Colt revolvers. Not "new" but, to me at least, MUCH more interesting than modern revolvers. Smile

1862 Colt Model 1860 Army (New York)

Colt Model 1849 w/ 4" barrel (Hartford)

Colt Model 1849 w/ 6" barrel (Hartford)

Colt Model 1849 w/ 5" barrel (Hartford)

1857 Martial Colt Model 1851 Navy (New York)

1860 Colt Model 1851 Navy (Hartford - shipped south prior to start of Civil War)

I've got a few Colts, including this factory 3" 80's vintage Python. While it's certainly the most valuable Colt revolver I own, I have a soft spot in my heart for my 4" barreled .22 LR and .38 Special Diamondback. These were my "grail guns" as a teenager and I dressed both of the smaller framed revolvers with Presentation Grade walnut stocks by Herrett's. The Python has some ebony stocks made by Fuzzy Farrant.

I truly enjoyed my Colt Python, 4", Blued. wish I still owned it today. Bought it in 1967, for $ 130.00. Also owned a Colt Gold Cup, Series 70, which I purchased for $ 160.00 in 1970.

Aah, those were the days!!

Presently own: Sig Sauer P220, P225, P226 Navy and Glock G21 SF.

Inherited this one. The grips are tulipwood Hogue's. I need to put some proper Colt grips on it. Serial # lookup shows it was made in ‘66.

Was digging through one of my holster trunks and came across a set of Hogue Tulipwood grips I had forgotten all about. Using girl math, a free set of D frame Hogue goodness. Slapped them on one of the Detective Specials and I really like them.

Gents,

Here is the new Colt King Cobra .22 I just purchased. It's going to be a very nice revolver.

I found this snubby Python in the classifieds here a long time ago - maybe 15 or so years. I add the Patrick Grashorn sheep bone grips

That's a looker, Blindref.

Mojojojo, lovely old capguns. Do you have an 1861 or a pocket police? Beautiful lines, like the 1860 army.
