Any idea if the P365 will come in something other than black any time soon? FDE or Coyote tan w/black controls, I want. Smile

I saw an FDE one yesterday in a local shop. I didn’t pay enough attention to notice control colors.

I also wanted the P365 w/manual safety in the tan color. The salesman said that they were only available in black but that might have been because black was all that he had.

I added a tan Hogue Grip which reduces the perceived recoil a fair amount and allows me to obtain a better grip. I'm glad that I added it for under $20. Something to consider....they even come in pink Roll Eyes

Lipsey’s is the only distributor I’ve seen that carries the FDE 365’s. They’ve got plenty in stock. Any FFL should be able to order one from them.

I just saw one at my LGS that had a US Flag motif on the slide; frame standard black. Not full color — black and gray. Looked pretty cool, actually. Didn’t make note of the price, though.

That is a fine looking pistol. I recently traded my P365 to my sister in law and I will buy this exact model when I save the money up.

I just got back from a local Gun Show here in Fort Worth. I saw lots of the FDE colored 365’s. Unfortunately all the dealers were charging $25 to $50 more for them...which is a rip off. They cost us FFL’s the exact same as the black ones.

Really?

I'm rather surprised that the NRA Edition FDE P365 would have the same dealer cost as the standard black P365, considering it comes with several extras. The color and coin are just window dressing, but the third magazine isn't. And even the coloring and coin have an additional production cost.

From the customer's perspective, the additional 12 round magazine is worth an extra $35ish by itself. So if it's only $20-$30 more for the FDE NRA edition compared to the standard P365 with just 2x 10 rounders, then the buyer is still coming out ahead, plus effectively getting the color and coin for free.

Similarly, Gen 4 Glocks have a slightly higher price than comparable Gen 3s, which is offset by the inclusion of the third magazine, effectively making it a wash.

I wasn’t referring to anything other than FDE 365’s with two mags. None of the 365’s I saw had a coin with them....?

I did some more looking around at distributors. There are more “versions” than I was aware of. The NRA version with 3 mags is indeed about $45 more than the black 365 with two mags. But, just the FDE with two mags is the same cost as the plain black. I didn’t see these extras (coin and extra mag) at today’s show.

I can’t comment to the original question of whether SIG will come out with additional colors other than the current flag-themed motif and the FDE NRA version but I wouldn’t be surprised if grey and olive come out at some point.

I purchased my FDE version for $550, so roughly the same price as the black with the addition of a 12-rd mag.
