I own a number of pistols but the P229 is my best!

I think my 1996 P229/9 is my favorite pistol as well. I put about 75 rounds through it today. It just feels so right in my hands.

I have a couple 229s one all stainless. I have a barsto barrel for it in 9mm, very soft shooting in 9mm with the white spring. The 229s are my favorite of the older P styles. Don’t have 365 or 320 or any of those ilk but I may get a 938. Never liked the glocks that I had, something about having the hammer there and yes is just being an old fart that grew up on revolvers.

Sometimes I think the 40SW was made for the P229. It shoots clean, smooth and sweet to its target. I have 3, each with an extra barrel in 357. As for 9mm, I am sure it is the same, but for that I have some vintage P228s.
