A friend's widow now has his Bersa and wants me to teach her to shoot it.

Mirrors my experience with my P230SL.

My dream would be Bersa make a decock only version without the internal locking system.


It would go well with a Beretta G model.


Of course it would be even better if Beretta currently made a single stack 92 G style .380 or 9mm.

That's my experience too. At one point I had four Thunders: a .380, two .22s, and a .32. I sold the .380 because it made no sense as a carry gun (given that I also have a SIG P238 and Glock 42), and I sold one of the .22s because I didn't need two. I kept one .22 because they're so much fun at the range, and I kept the .32 because it's a rare bird and pretty much fun to shoot too.

That 380 Bersa always looked like a copy of the Sig P230/232 with a safety added...

It always struck me more as a PPK clone. Without the awful DA trigger and slide bite, that is.
