I'm planning to try one, once Lone Wolf comes out with their upcoming new Timberwolf frames.

For me it’s the best of both worlds. Longer sight radius, ability to mount a light, more holster options. The only con that I can see is that currently you have to make your own. If your really want to do it I would suggest ordering up a stripped frame from Legion Precision. For $83 shipped you can have an extra frame to practice plus then you can have a 19 with both compact and standard frames if you get extra lower small parts. Glockstore also has frames for $75 but they charge $40 shipping. Legion Precision is $75 + $7 shipping.

It is very doable using a G19 slide and barrel with a Lonewolf filler (modified to fit). As a side note the G17 slide with a G19L barrel is another doable modification for your Glock. It all comes down to personal choice and what works for you. My criteria has always been the option of returning a weapon to its original state if I want to sell it.

Polymer refined did my G26 chop job. Great work. It looks like he's back in business!

Bringing it back from the dead but I did this to my G19.3 and love the mod. It runs the 10 rd OEM mags without issue and the 12s (OEM 10s with +2)work fine but have a bit more material to contact the backstrap. They feel great though.

Of note, I put some Ghost MOAB baseplates on my 10 rd mags and it makes a ledge that is somehow comfortable when shooting with my pinky floating in space.

Its a really nice size and conceals well under shirts that my 19 prints with. I can also run a full 15 mag or 17 etc if I want. In actual use I've found I dont actually notice the missing grip portion however, I wasn't in love with the hump anyways.

Just wanted to give some ideas for anyone thinking about it. I did most of the cutting with a dremel (cutting disk and then sanding wheel using a G26 mag to check for fit and aiming at the bottom of the ring finger bump) then filed and polished. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to stipple the smooth backstrap or leave it.

Another hard decision is not doing the mod to my 19.4. I really like the way this thing carries and feels.
