Opus DeiAnyone Have Strike Industries Glock 19 magazines?
LINKI didn't buy a Glock

but I just got a Palmetto Dagger Compact. So I'm looking for some magazines. and come across the Strike ones. I'm a little dubious about them because (so far) any aftermarket clear magazine seems largely shit. But anything I've ever gotten from S_I has so far been solid.
If you think it better to pass, I'd appreciate any alternate magazine suggestions and links. Thanks in advance.

12131For 12 bucks, I'd rather buy the Magpul.

ChowserMidway has OEM Glock mags on sale for $20?
I just bought a bunch of 33 rd mags for $27 I think. Had to buy enough to get over $100 for free shipping. lol
I remember the old days when I could order mags direct from Glock for $10 on the armorer program. Now you can't.

YooperSigsHexmag... MagPul... ETS... Lots of Glock non OEM mags out there now for cheap. Unless you are an outfit called MBX, who will sell you a steel extended mag for $150 bucks. The only one I am interested in trying out is the ETS Omega mag. Which has a steel upper end and feed lips.

patwI have owned a few of their products but I have never used their Glock mags. Like the others have stated, for the price of a factory Glock mag., it doesn't really make sense to chance it working or not. The low price of Glock mags is amazing considering how they are made and what other manufacturers charge for their mags.

parabellumFor Glocks, stick to factory magazines. If you want extra mags for the range, buy a few Magpul.
That's my best advice for you as a thirty year Glock shooter.

Opus DeiThanks, all. If OEM magazines are $20, there is no compelling reason not to get them.
ETA Chowser's post made me remember Midway sent an e-mail with a birthday discount, so a 3-pack of G5 OEM were ~$55.00.

cslingerWhile I have some Magpuls and have had no issues with them it’s hard to justify anything but factory unless you are buying a shit ton of them at once.
Even locally in brick and Morter stores the avg. Glock factory mag is 25 bucks. Which, as far as factory mags go, is pretty competitive. That and Glock mags are just really good mags beyond getting the baseplate off.

I came here to offer the same exact advice.
When it comes to Glock mags, just buy the $20 OEM mags. I have wasted so much money on aftermarket stuff over the years. Just sits in my junk pile. Stick with OEM for serious use and maybe Magpul for range (only) mags.
