Im in tears just looking at that mess. What a waste of a P228. Thankfully we’ve come a long way in defensive handguns. Imagine trying to use that thing and having to decide which button to push? Almost like Tom Cruise in Top Gun, “I’m too close for missiles, switching to guns”.

One of the guns I wish I never sold was a P228. Not once, but three times in the 90’s. Two blued and one factory nickel. All bought new in the boxes. Didn’t have much money then and always seemed to see something else I wanted, so the Sig went. Only to regret and buy another and repeat the process.

Oh well. Sorry for the drift.

Because it’s junk and wasn’t used by the SEAL’s.

I remember seeing one of these as the main side arm of the good guy in a old film back from 1995 I like called Virtuosity
