1KPerDayTrijicon RMR: Excellent customer service and warranty
Got an original RMR RM01 3.25 MOA about 11 years ago when pistol optics were just starting to be a thing outside of the race gun/CMore world. Worked great for over 10K documented rounds on my M&P CORE 9L. Replaced the battery after 3.5 years. After a few thousand more rounds I started getting the flicker (on the type 1 RMR they didn't really anticipate their use on pistol slides and the battery contacts have proved insufficient in some cases). I shimmed the battery with a business card and it worked for a couple thousand more rounds. Flicker again, tried to gently pry open the spring/tab contact and re-shim it but it still wasn't 100% so I removed it and shot irons for a few matches.
Contacted Trijicon, sent it to them (I even had the original box and warranty card and manual), and long story short, they're replacing it with a new Type 2 RM01 3.25 MOA RMR. Super cool! The original was $599 at the time so I'm happy they are taking care of me. I'm confident the Type 2 will hold up pretty much forever.

357fuzzI am glad they treated you so good!!! That’s why I like Trijicon. Yeah, the Type 1’s were noted for the “flicker”. They obviously fixed that a/ the Type 2.
