Looking to tap into the brain trust out there...

I'd like a non-1911 .45 but can't decide on which one. I had a G21 Gen 4 that was OK...but was wondering about the Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 version in .45. (In full disclosure, I just can't put together the $$$ for a P220...)

Does anyone have any experience with these...it looks like a new one goes for a little under $500 so I'm definitely intrigued.

Looking for the sage advice out there...

I shot it and love it. It fixes all the little annoyances I have with the Glock 21 and 30. Recoil pattern is good and I find it manageable. Accuracy was good. I like the trigger and new grip.
