got2hav1Snagged a USP Compact 9mm
Picked up a nice HK today. I like the size and DA/SA with safety/decocker. I have a straight Gray Guns trigger ordered for it. I have trouble with the DA long stroke. It just breaks so far back in the trigger guard it really bothers me. Other than that little complaint I really like it.

357fuzzNicely done. One of the dumbest moments of my life… selling my 357Sig HK USP Compact. Great pistols in any caliber.

usncorpsmanNice. The DA trigger in mine felt like it was 900lbs so I sold it. I did shoot extremely well though.

Quit exaggerating. The DA pulls are no more then 80-90 pounds at most.

.

Nice USP. I love HK pistols even with their less then stellar triggers.

Yeah you probably should have kept that one. I don't think I have ever seen one for sale in person.

12131The crappy trigger notwithstanding, I've always liked the USPc. I put it in the top 4 favorite compact pistols, the other three being the P228, the G19 and the PCR.

kaschiYou will LOVE this pistol, and even more so with the flat trigger. For me, it makes the USP Compact shine.

OgieNice! I have one in .45 with the SS slide. It's a keeper.

monoblokOne of my favorite HKs. But I "ruined" mine a while ago when I swapped out the factory sights for a set of Trijicon 'Bright and Tough' tritium. Went from a somewhat undesirable but wholly understandable combat hold to an unexpected 6:00 hold, definitely not my favorite sighting methodology. One of these days I'm going to have to fix that.

smschulzI have moved mine into my carry rotation or rather I carry it when I can.
To me I have zero issues on the trigger so hate it if you will.
I also replaced the hammers in all of my compacts with a spurred hammer.

got2hav1I struggled with getting a P2000 or the USPC. I liked the trigger better on the P2000 and it is a bit slimmer than the USPC, but accessories are more readily available for the USPSC. I still may end up with another one, I also like the P30 series a lot.

kaschiThe reason I opted for the USP C is because it has the left side only safety/decocker lever (just like yours). For concealed carry, it is the perfect set up for right handed people IMO. After chambering a round, simply decock the pistol and engage the safety. It's like carrying a 1911, except that the first shot is a longer pull. A very safe carry mode.
As for the P30, I also have one of those. It too has the Grayguns straight trigger. Mine is the P30S, the "S" indicating safety lever. It's similar to the USP C except the safety levers on it (both sided) are solely safety levers and do not function as a decocker. There is a separate lever/button at the rear of the slide that performs the decocking process.
Both of these pistols are outstanding. If I could say anything negative at all, it would be that I could easily live without the safety lever being on both sides of the frame. But the P30S doesn't come that way. It could probably be removed with a dremel tool, but it's not the end of the world being there either.
If HK ever offered either of these pistols in all stainless steel, I'd be all over them!

got2hav1I also had a P30SK LEM Lite that I liked. Sold it for something else I just had to have. I did like that set up as well. I didn't like the LEM but when I found one with LEM Lite I was sold.
Kaschi, yes I really like the safety/decocker set up on the USPC. Very safe to carry.

cobalt402I have 2 9mm USPc's and a USPC IN .40. By far my favorite weapon, even though I don't shoot it as well as my Sigs & Glocks. I'll be curious how the flat trigger works for you after you install it. I love the flats that I have on my Sigs.

patwNice pistol, congrats. I have always liked the USP platform from Hk compared to their others, as I am just able to shoot better with it. I wish HK have/make a middle ground pistol by combining the grip features of a P30 and keep the slide/trigger of the USP.

FPNunesCongrats! HKs are my passion and am fortunate to have quite a few. Every now and then I EDC my USPC 9milly and it is built like a tank. I'm sure you are going to love this one.
Save the whales. Redeem them for valuable prizes...

CutterIt’s been a long time since I have handled one of those. To decocker which way do you move the lever? Up past the safe position or down past the fire position?
