Of course, that is a matter of opinion, but this is the nicest CZ I've ever owned and I own several. The Shadow 2 Target debuted last year in Europe and are now starting to trickle into the states. Its designed as an old-school bullseye pistol with adjustable rear sights and a black post front, with no optic capability (I'm not an optics guy). The trigger is adjustable for both weight and position. The barrel is crowned and the controls are slightly repositioned. The front and rear checkering is very aggressive, as you can probably see. The Target also gets the handfitting that was previously done only on the Orange models.
These are Talo guns and pretty striking from an aesthetics standpoint, in my opinion. The black and red are a nice contrast. This pistol is available with both a 5" and 6" barrel. While I prefer the looks of the 5", I went with the latter, because my other Shadow 2 models have a 4.9" barrel. I wanted something different.
I haven't shot it yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so. I know there's a lot of CZ fans here. Please enjoy the pics.

I'm not a huge CZ guy, but that's just personal preference. I can't deny that they make amazing hardware. I especially like the lack of a rail on this one. I wish more manufacturers would go that route.
Is the difference between this one and the Orange just the division/class of competition they are spec'd for or are they in different price/quality categories too?

This is designed for bullseye, so no rail and its iron sights only. It’s also SAO.
The Shadow 2 Orange is more versatile and it’s DA/SA.
The Target model is about $500 more.

Dan, yes, KMR does the handfitting of the CZ parts on this, like they do with the Orange models.
Looking forward to getting my hands on an actual KMR in the future, once they’re in the states.

It is so nice to see how LPA sights show up on many of the nicer pistols. For some of us, older eyes or not, we've not yet adapted to fiber optic front gum ball sights so, the sharp Patridge like target blade is a perfectly normal sight. It's a beauty bac and we will probably never read of a lead target bullet riding it's bore. Has it's sight plane been serrated?

Haven’t shot it yet, but I own a number of longslides and enjoy them.
The Target is also available with a 5” barrel.

Yes sir. They are nice pistols, albeit quite a bit different
