Cleaning in the gun room and found this way in the back of a drawer

Google-Fu has failed me.

Anyone recognize it?
Staggered or double stack, looks like heel release unless the round hole is the catch?

unmarked of course

I quit school in elementary because of recess.......too many games

The hole on the side looks newer. Is it possible that the mag is for a pistol that started as a heel release but then a newer generation of the pistol switched to button release. The hole was cut out so the older mags could be used in the newer guns.

It's for some flavor of Jiminez handgun piece of crap. (These are cheap-ass "saturday night specials" made from zinc-based pot metal, along the same lines as Jennings/Raven/Lorcin/Davis/Bryco/etc.)

Probably a JA Nine or LC 380. Can't narrow it down any further than that unless I had the magazine in hand, along with some different caliber rounds to play around with. Several of their handguns used that magazine design, just with slightly different dimensions based on the caliber.

Nice work.
I'm guessing you have "evidence locker" experience ?

Yup. I thought I recognized the weird downward angled floorplate and yuge magazine catch hole. A quick Google confirmed. Big Grin

Thanks!
Never owned one of those, I’ve been known to buy a big box of mags at gun shows lol.
Had it long enough I’ve forgotten where it came from.

If you try hard enough, somebody might give you hepatitis for it...
