P-365 15 round mag problem Login/Join

I have two of the P-365 mags and I can’t load past 4 rounds in either one of them. When I unload the rounds the first one unloads fine but the other 3 don’t move. You can turn the mag upside down and the remaining 3 rounds fall out on their own and the follower is stuck down in the mag. I have three each of the 10 and 12 rounder mags and no problems with them except having to use a mag loader. Hardest dang mags to load.

I went to the Sig website to see if their is a recall on them and there isn’t one. I checked out the reviews of the 15 round mags and there are a bunch of bad reviews with this problem. I have Mainly used my 10 and 12 rounders a ton. On the tune of at least 1500 rounds if not more. I bought the 15 rounders on a whim just to have as back ups about 4 or 5 months ago so can’t return them. That’s a hundred bucks worth of useless mags.

Not sure what to do about them at this point. I guess I need to call Sig and see what they can do for me. Anybody had this problem here?

Clearly your follower is getting jammed up. Before you toss them or send them back, I'd suggest loading the full 15 rounds and letting them sit for a bit. I'd also slide off the base plate and wipe out the mag shell, and check the follower for burrs. See if the follower slides evenly in and out on the end of the spring, with no pressure against it.

I haven't had any issues with my 15 round magazines, or the 12 or 10 round mags. They all feed just fine. I usually carry the 15 round magazines as the spares.

While you've got the follower out for inspection, insure the magazine spring is oriented correctly. Remember, it's human made.

KAHR was notorious for incorrectly orienting the magazine springs on brand new magazines and pistols. They must have hired dyslectic line workers.

Yep, the follower is hanging on the mag catch slot.

I load three rounds in the mag and use a mag loader to repeatedly shove the round stack back and forth in the magazine. It'll wear the follower in the at the right place. If it's a HD mag, I'll then disassemble the mag and clean out any follower parts.
