Is there any way to tell if a used pistol has been sent back for a mothership Spa treatment?

I'm thinking about doing it on a recent acquisition and don't want to bother if it already went. The seller was a dealer so has no idea...

You can call Sig with the serial number. They can give you the history on if it’s been back for any service.

What is a spa treatment, would the results not be visible?

I bought a CPO and the best I can tell, it was thorougly cleaned and likely got new springs.

Thanks, I'll give them a call this week to see what they have to say.

It is a factory "freshen up" package offered by the Sig Custom shop. Officially called the "Sig Service Package"

Hopefully, you also got the trigger action service? I saw a big difference before and after in that there weren't any "grittiness" or stuttering afterwards.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Actually, I didn't. TBH, it never occurred to me to have them do anything other than check it out and give it a refresh.

The trigger on this one is pretty good and will only get better. I did buy the GG super strut on a whim. I may try that in it once it comes back and I put a few hundred through it.

See my link above - it shows the details of what is included and the CS phone number on the Sig web page.
