So I did some searching about holsters for the X Compact but I still am confused. I have a few questions.

So does the P320 X Compact for holsters for the Sig Compact typically?
I have a Safariland holster coming for a Sig Compact. I know the X Compact just has a little shorter barrel but the frame, slide, trigger guard should be the same as the standard compact model I believe?

I wasn’t sure of the trigger guard differences (if any) between the X Comoact and standard Compact. I also was wondering if the slide lock/release on the X Compact is the same as the standard compact because I know the standard compact frame has a ledge for the slide lock but I didn’t know if the slide lock is the same one on each model. I just wonder about that for holster fitment.

Basically just wondering if standard P320 Comoact holsters work for the X Compact.

It should. I have an xcompact with a tlr7a and a sig Romeo RDS attached to it. It fits perfectly in my P320 full sized holster.

Yes, the XCompact will fit holsters for the P320 Compact/Carry, just with 0.3" of extra space in the muzzle end.

It will also fit holsters for the P320 Full Size, just with 1.1" of extra space in the muzzle end.

It will not fit holsters for the (discontinued) P320 Subcompact. Most Subcompact holsters are made for the non-rail Small grip anyway, but even on the railed medium grip modules, the Subcompact grips all have a rounded trigger guard instead of the squared trigger guard on the XCompact/Compact/Carry/FS.

I bought this holster for my P320 and the only problem which was my fault is that is mine has a Romeo sight on it. I had to cut out a notch for the sight...
