Dumb question because I don't know, can the fire control system in a P365XL be removed just like the P320 and put into different frame?

I am thinking of converting my P365XL into the smaller frame P365.

Thanks

Short answer is yes. I went the other way and converted a standard P365 to a P365X then P365XL. The only real difference was the trigger shoe in my FCU is curved. SIG sells an XL conversion kit (grip module, complete slide, one magazine) for the upsizing to the XL…maybe they do the same for downsizing. If not you can get all these components from various sources, including SIG. I do recommend the Wilson Combat grip modules.

Oh, and not a stupid question at all.

Thank you KAMPY
I have owned a P320 since they first came out and knew the different grip modules were available, however I never thought of the P365 being the same.

I just went to Sigs website and don't see a conversion from the P365XL to the standard P365 are there any other places to look?

You can move all your FCU components into a P365 grip. You will need to buy ten round mags.

I have an empty P365 grip module. I will send you my P365 grip if you cover shipping.

I can't throw anything away and I admit I have a hoarding problem.
I bought a TyrantCNC xmacro size module for my P365.

Chowser thank you for the offer, this is one of the many things I love about this place.
Everyone is helpful and very generous.

After doing some further research I am finding the specs on both firearms is not that different.
I am looking for a pocket holster and thought the P365 being smaller would be better, however, the specs on height and length are less than a inch in either direction so being a big guy at 6'4" I don't thing it will make that much of a difference.

Again Chowser thank you for the offer, however at this point I will be looking for a good pocket holster.

Pocket holster you say...I have a Trigger Guard Holster for a P365/P365X from Detroit Holster that I'm pleased with if you're thinking about pocket carry in a jacket/vest. They offer multiple flavors depending on your needs/wants. Beyond the Std model, they an 'Adjustable Retention' version as well a 'Delux' version that also covers the muzzle end of the slide. The Trigger Guard Holster can also be customized for draw hand, which moves the Mag Release cover to the opposite side for lefties, and the Kydex is available in multiple colors/patterns as well.

I got the Std version for my P365X in Carbon Fiber Armor Black, and I'm quite pleased with it. Just FYI - My P365X has the Armory Craft Extended Mag Release Button, and the Std. version works just fine with it.

Check out AHolster for pocket holsters. They are the best design in my opinion. I own probably ten of these for different small pocket guns.
