One showed up on a local gun classifieds site and the stars aligned so I picked this up today. I've wanted one for years but the opportunity never presented itself. Eventually I bought an X5 Allround which was close. I kept it for a year but knew it wasn't what I really wanted so I sold it and waited for one like this. I'm very happy with it. The previous owner has an X6 Mastershop that he might be willing to sell me in a year or so. We agreed I'd get right of first refusal. I thought that was nice of him. Here is a pic with it's predecessor the 220 Sport.

...and with a 229 Sport in .357 SIG and an HK 45 Expert with Merkle tuning weight.

This was a long time coming. Smile

The L1 is superb and the best looking of the bunch there, imo. Congratulations.

Congratulations on the pick up.

The only problem with my L1 is it doesn’t make it to the range enough, I need to fix that.

Greg Cote has MecGar magazines available, should you need a few extra.

Congratulations on a fine family addition

The X5 L1 is a wonderful firearm as are the rest of your stable.

I am a HUGE fan of the 229 Sport in 357SIG

The P220 Sport may look a little funny, but you get over that as soon as you see your first group

The HK USP Expert is also a wonderful auto loader

What is next for the family?

An X6? Or perhaps a USP Elite?

Congrats on your X Five. It should serve you well for many years.

Got lucky when I bought my Allround. The store didn't know what it was and it had been sitting in the display case for four months.

Congrat's a rare find today.

I lucked into both of mine several years back.

The gentleman from whom I bought this X5 also has an X6 in 45 acp. He thinks he'll be willing to sell it within a year. He offered me right of first refusal which I was pleased to accept. So if he does sell it, I'll be there to pick it up. After that I wouldn't mind the 226 second from the left in bac1023's pic. I also agree with .38supersig that the Allround is a fine pistol. Retrospectively, I should not have sold mine. They are very hard to find. When I do and in the above order I'll add one back. That's the plan at least. there's many a slip twixed a cup and a lip so time will tell.

That’s an L1. You already have one.
