What model Smith is this?
I've been told it is a model 19 .357. Is there like a submodel?
S&W

No, its a model 19. Your barrel tells me its a Pro Series or Performance Center gun, so it sould be really nice.

I've got the same right now & it looks like a model 60 Pro. Slab-sided barrel, front sight tritium, frosted stainless finish, recessed crown, wood grips. Nice little piece, S&W Pro series kinda in the same regard as the SIG Legion series - several upgrades that would cost a good bit more if done after buying the original gun.

J frame, 5 round, 3" barrel?

BigJoe, I'm going to refrain from pricing advice out of respect for the forum standards.

The Pro series are nice revolvers, the one downside I found was their triggers were fairly heavy and would prefer a Wolff spring upgrade on the 686 & 60 Pro I had but sold before ever firing them.

I see the same thing.

Model 60 Pro, J-frame 5-shot 357.

If you open the crane the model should be stamped inside on the frame as well as the version (number behind the dash). Each time S+W changes something on a revolver, they change the number behind the dash.

Agree it’s a Model 60 Pro.
S&W says the MSRP is $819, FWIW.

I don't have the gun with me. But I was going based upon what I was told.

But I have what I need now. Thanks for the education. I really appreciate it. I'm just not up to speed on the latest revolvers.

That's definitely a Model 60 Pro Series. J frame.
