Flat Trigger for P365 -- SIG vs GrayGuns
Is the SIG branded P365 flat trigger the same as the one sold by Gray Guns?

If not the same, is there an advantage of one over the other?

No they are not the same.

The Grayguns trigger has an overtravel set screw that you can adjust.

I have zero experience with the Grayguns trigger but I do have six P365's and all of the have the Sig factory flat trigger (some came that way, some converted by me) and I'm very happy with them.

Thanks. I was wondering about the huge price difference. Not sure that the overtravel adjustment is worth an extra fifty bucks for a carry gun.

Maybe somebody who has the Gray Guns version could comment on this?

I have both.

Overtravel definitely makes a difference. Whether it's worth it to you is a personal choice.

Grayguns is showing out of stock at the moment.

Im not a fan of overtravel or any type of screws on a SD/PD/Duty trigger. Screws move,so my vote is for the factory flat trigger. I run them in them in my 365's and the Legion flat trigger in my 320's. It's just my preference.

Good point, TXPO. I think you just saved me fifty bucks. Smile

I’m a huge fan of the GGI flat triggers due to the over travel adjustability. For me it is worth the extra money.

The Sig triggers are usually high quality MIM manufactured. Gray Guns triggers are all made out of tool steel. Bruce himself told me this when I attended an OpSpec training class.

I use Sig flat triggers in my SD P320's and P365's. I would consider an adjustable Grayguns or other trigger in a range gun.

I carry the Grayguns trigger, and have no hesitation, doing so. No reason to restrict it to just the range.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but don't the P365X and XL come with the flat trigger? I thought only the P365 came with a standard trigger.

I have no idea whether you're right or wrong, but that does not address the original question that I asked, which has nothing to do with a P365X nor XL.

Let's keep this thread on topic, please.

Just from what I've read in this thread..

No they are not the same... the Gray Guns trigger has an adjustable bolt/screw on it.

As with just about any question like this you will get different opinions.... from what I have determined both have their advantages and potential disadvantages... Sounds to me like the ultimate solution is to own two P365s, one with the factory flat trigger and the other with the Gray Guns one. then you get to decide which is better.... seems like the obvious solution to me....

That's always the answer, isn't it? "Buy more guns." Big Grin

No experience with the Gray Guns. Trigger but I put the Sig flat trigger in my 365. I also installed an MCarbo trigger spring kit. The original trigger/spring combo was rough but this helped immensely.

I went with the Sig flat trigger just because I wanted Sig parts on my carry gun.
