Need a holster for my new Glock 48. Tuckable is a plus. What's everyone liking these days?

Take a look at Vedder holsters. Thin, tuckable, and in my opinion very good quality. “There is love in me the likes of which you’ve never seen. There is rage in me the likes of which should never escape." —Mary Shelley, Frankenstein

second Vedder. I have a JM Custom kydex for my 43x and am very pleased. The only downside is JM doesn't offer metal clip like the Vedder. Love my Sigs but carry my Glocks

I had a thin kydex for a P7 from FIST. You could forget you had it on. _____________________________ 'I'm pretty fly for a white guy'.

Aren't they all? The typical material thickness used by most makers is .080". Some (e.g., FIST) offer thinner, at the cost of durability.

My experience is completely different from your's. I use a Fist ultra thin 1AK kydex holster almost exclusively for several weapons, including a P229. I have one for a Glock 19 that is probably at least 15 years old. It is still working fine with no signs of coming apart at all. The clips are also very sturdy. Because son, it is what you are supposed to do.

My wife made the switch to the Glock 26 back in 2005, its been her EDC since then, she carries from sun up to sun down. She uses the FIST ultra thin kydex IWB holster (K6 option). She has cracked two of them, she averages about 5-7 years of DAILY use. Yes the thin kydex is a little less durable, but it is her preferred holster. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Try PJ Holster. Paul makes a nice holster for the 48. Fast turnaround and great customer service. PJ Holster "Prepared in mind and resources"

I've been very happy with CYA Holsters. Every once in a while I like to masturbate a big word into a conversation - even if I'm not sure what it means.

I'll second this. See my post here: https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...430059754#9430059754 He offers three Kydex thicknesses: .060, .080 and .093. Besides whatever is standard for the gun/holster, you can request a different thicknesses. He offers a LOT of options on the Web site. Seems to be more of a semi-custom maker, since he is open to a wide choice of variations. Here is a quote from his e-mail when he responded to my questions: "For my IWB holsters I like the .080, especially for guns like the Glock 19. For small guns like the LCP you can get away with .060. The .080 gives great retention but is not too bulky." ______________________ An expert is one who knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely everything about nothing. --Nicholas Murray Butler

Not kydex but you may want to checkout a Kusiak Signature IWB. They make a tuckable one too. https://kusiakleather.com/coll...products/kusiak-iwbs ___________________________

.08 is a good all-around thickness, a lot of makers use the .093 though which I think is too thick for an IWB. I like .06 and used that to make my first holster which was a belt holster for my wife's S&W Nightguard. .06 is plenty strong and an IWB holster is protected by the clothes, belt and body anyway. “People have to really suffer before they can risk doing what they love.” –Chuck Palahnuik Be harder to kill: https://preparefit.ck.page
