I have other 5.7s and a decent cache of ammo....this seems interesting to me. https://www.shootingillustrate...kel-tec-pr57-pistol/ Is it on anyone else's radar? This message has been edited. Last edited by: joel9507,

I'll pick one up when prices fall below MSRP, but not at a 25% markup. ___________ ___________ ___________

I was seriously tempted at the last show for one at MSRP. BUT....I heeded my inner-child that insists on never paying retail, and giving new guns some beta-trial time in the market.

I've thought it interesting for $399 less normal discount. No way with added markup. ----- Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like. Common sense isn't "right wing" unless you are too far to the left.

Over MSRP?!? I'm guessing other folks are interested enough that demand is greater than supply. Not in a hurry. But I remain interested.

Really pissed me off when I saw folks going over MSRP. I “lucked” into one at 399, and five minutes later they bumped the price to 500. Anywho, it’s pretty awesome (for a KelTec), nice hammer trigger….lightweight, great recoil. Solid so far, only 100 rounds through it. I put a Holosun on it…..really looks like a space gun lol

Not that I am dismissing it but I just don't see the appeal in it,unless you are in a state in which you only allowed to get certain guns due to capacity, magazines,etc.. The Ruger 57 is $400 in many places and seems like the better deal.

Not sure if this qualifies as a necro-thread resurrection but I started it a while back. Anyway, I'm starting to see some availability at MSRP and am still thinking about one. As to why. **************** I got the FN Five seveN, and a PS-90 long ago and so stocked up on 5.7 back in the day. I was intrigued by the Keltek R50 in 5.7, and picked one up last year. I was a little hesitant due to the reputation of the brand but it has worked flawlessly, so I'm fine with trying their PR57. The advantage of this over the Ruger (and I am fine with Rugers, I have several and am quite fond of them) is in the size and weight - small enough it might become a carry option for me. (well, yes there's a price advantage, too.) The disadvantage is, of course, stripper clip vs. usual magazine reloading, but with 20+1 capacity maybe that's not a big deal. And the Ruger vs. KelTec thing, but as noted, they did such a good job with my R50 I'm past that. ******** Anyway, I'm checking back to see if folks may have picked any of these up and if so, what their experiences may have been.
