I just purchased a GoGun gas pedal for my X5 Legion and am having problems removing the factory take down lever. I watched a video that made it look easy, remove the slide, push the factory lever up into the horizontal position then simply push the lever out. The factory lever moves easily to begin with then stops and won't pull out. I've rotated it and pulled with some force and it won't come out. Do I need to place it in the horizontal position and use a punch to drive it out or?

Thanks

P320 X5 Legion, or P226 X5 Legion? Regardless a Punch is NOT required, so don't do that!

I've not used a P320 X5, but most of the regular P320s I've worked with tend to have pretty tight takedown levers from the factory. Lube it up good and work it back and forth while you pull out on it...and maybe even push some from the other side. Eventually it will come out. It will get easier after it's been in and out a few times.

Got it out after rotating the lever and gently pulling on it, popped right out. Installed the new gas pedal and after a few shots my groups were improved. This simple device helps me maintain a more consistent grip, recommend it. Gonna pick one up for my P226 Legion SAO.
