If I may ask why the KP9 over the AKV?

Mag price alone would keep me from the KP9.

KP9 mags are $36 when you buy 5
AKV mags are $15 each and I would go to wager they are made by Magpul and are 35 round capacity to KP9s 30.

They are very hard to find in stock, the only mags available right now are the Magpul as the PSA are out of stock. Rob Ski gave the KP9 the thumbs up and Tim from MAC says prefers it to the AKV9. I would like to have the AKV9 but no luck getting one.

All the PSA mags are in stock except the clear and smoke.

The trick to getting the AKV is being ready.
Have your account setup and ready to go. They drop their available guns between 3 and 4pm each day.
So you pretty much have to be on the site and logged in during those times as they sell out generally in 30 minutes of being put on the site.
The the SB3 seems to be the one that is listed the most. Some of the other configurations you may have to wait awhile between production runs to get.

The KP9 is a legit clone of the Vityaz. The AKV looks somewhat like-ish a Vityaz but is actually nothing like it.

I don't see any reason to get the AKV over the KP9. If I want a 9mm PCC/Pistol, then I wouldn't chose the AKV or the KP9. I'd be going MPX/APC Pro/GHM9/Scorpion route well before the AKV/KP9.

So the only reason to get an "AK" in 9mm is because you want a vityaz clone or because you want to practice your AK skills with the cheaper 9mm. In either case, the KP9 is better choice since an AK doesn't have a LRBHO.

KP9 for the win on all fronts imo. I actually don't understand why anyone would get an AKV when the KP9 exists.

The only reason I didn't get the MCX or the B&T is the price, I recently pick up a HK SP5 and this time I wanted something to use without been concerned about beauty marks (wear).
