I think the Holy Grail of Holy Grail Pistols Have Arrived
It almost guarantees ne'er a miss.
Yeah, I know it's $7K but we can dream can't we?

I'm sure bac1023 will come along soon with pictures of the pair he bought. * Sigh * Envy is a sin for a reason.

The Chiappa Rhino of semi-autos, without the funky looks. Can't say I can think of any other 'inverted' semi-autos like this.

I read it more as bac tends to have a lot of the 'unobtainium' stuff & we get to live vicariously through his sharing.

No disparaging was meant at all. I just wish(ed) I had the ability to play in his arena. Or just touch his collection.

The real disparagement here is calling the above pistol the "Holy Grail, of Holy Grail pistols".

I’ve said it before-I’ll take a Korth over that any day.

Charles Clement made autos with the recoil spring above the barrel and Smith & Wesson did, too. No elaborate gas cylinder but still "inverted."

And John Browning's design which became the FN 1900.
In terms of 'holy grail' pistols, I think the term is being misapplied here. The grail is an individual choice and varies from person to person.
And this oddball thing is certainly not my choice of the elusive.

Well, If it is the 'grail' pistol you seek, my vote would go for a Singer 1911A1.
When you get tired of it, you can trade it for a house.

That thing doesn’t do anything for me. Now as far as my “Grail Gun”, it would be a new in the box, 1970’s vintage Colt Python with a 4in barrel for MSRP. Yeah, just a dream.

It's interesting & I'd like to try one, but at 7k I don't see getting anywhere near one.

You don't want much for around $225.

I'm intrigued by the Alien in that it shows some true mechanical innovation. In a world where most of the new tech is centered around software and our phones, seeing a company come out with something mechanically different is pretty cool. I really want to try one to see if the theory behind the design actually plays out in practice. Unfortunately, the price tag on these things has them WAY out of my reach.

I think all "Grail Guns" are each to their own, as in Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.
For me, it is my P6 which has a born on date of my birth month and year.
Which is honestly why it's so special to me.
It doesn't have an amazing DA pull but the SA is amazing, maybe since its been through a decent amount of shooting or that I have fired it quite a bit.
TIP Wolff Springs sells replacement P6/P225 magazine springs/recoil springs.

Yeah I can post pics you mentioned.
The Creator is really awesome.
I prefer the grip angle over my other Aliens and it’s also a couple ounces heavier, which I love. The steel magwell is the reason. The standard Aluen’s magwell is aluminum.
Here they are for comparison. You can see the differences.

Those are awesome, but they certainly don’t shoot like an Alien.
