I am interested in moving over a RMR optic from a G34 G5 MOS to US P226-Five. Anyone have a RMR on their X-Five? If yes, what parts are required? Bonus points for posts with pics of optics on their X-Five, regardless of brand.

Hey Onesig2few,

I put a Romeo02 on mine. With it being a Rome02, all I had to do is remove the rear site and attach the optic. Mixed emotions about the look… the milling on the X5 rear site is longer than the optic. That said, SIG CS said they will be making a cover (early this year???) that will conceal the remaining exposed cut. I assume it will secure with the odd extra screw hole.

If you go with a Romeo02, do not use the bit that comes with the included tool! Mine did not seat in the screw head correctly causing it to jump out. Not a huge deal to use my own bit and tork driver but whew, could have been horrible if it had caused an early life scratch on this beauty.

I had L&M do an X5 a while ago for an RMR and it was great.
