Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

A while back I saw a web site where you could compare different hand guns to see the size difference. It was a site where you could choose what ever models you wanted to compare. Thought I bookmarked it but can't find it.

It’s a great site but don’t just rely on it because sometimes the raw numbers/pics don’t tell the whole story. For example the P365 and P365 Macro are much smaller feeling than even the numbers would suggest. Same with something like a Glock 19 vs a CZ P01 or HK P2000 both the CZ and HK are bigger by the number but in practice feel smaller.

Right - also Handgun Hero's dimensions go straight by manufacturer provided dimensions. Manufacturers sometimes fudge their measurements depending on how or where they measure.
For instance, some guns have protruding slide catch or decocker levers. If a gun is only wide at that point(s), then you may be mislead into thinking a gun is chunky.
