I'm wondering if the hammer spring required for both DA/SA action has to be heavy as there's a limited amount of spring that can be jammed into the grip of the gun. Most Government 1911s have somewhere around an 18# hammer spring that makes the trigger in the 4.5-5# range while that weight of spring in the Beretta 92 gives you that 12-15# DA trigger while the lighter LTT guns use a 12# hammer spring.

I’d buy one in a heartbeat. I usually carry a P239 now.

If the mainspring and hammer strut eat up too much real estate, be creative. Maybe dual coil springs on each side of the hammer.

Somebody could figure it out.

If enough people wanted them.

Which, they don’t.

The P250 put a complete DAO action into an FCU the same size as the P320's. They stuck nested hammer springs inside the hammer.

Sig also didn't have to engineer a SA trigger into that FCU, either.

I’d be ecstatic over a DA only, hammer fired, high cap 9 the size of a P365.

Just yesterday I picked up my 365xl with Wilson grip and said “man I wish they made this in double action” I would carry hat thing everywhere!

I was not aware the P2000sk was officially discontinued. Too bad.

You might be able to find a P250 FCU and put it in a P320 Wilson Combat frame. It would be a little thicker than the P365 but should work.

Closest I can think of is a Kahr CM9. No , it’s not a DA/SA, but it’s close.

What about a 239 in DAO or DAK? Or a 229 ?

The P229 has been working well for me. But it's huge compared to a P365. The P239 is barely any smaller or lighter than the P229. I found that those two guns were close enough in size that they didn't really offer any perceptible difference in carryability for me, but the P229 offers better shootability (for me and my hand geometry) and more capacity. Not a knock on the P239...it's a great gun, it just couldn't beat my P229.

The P365 is significantly smaller, thinner, and lighter than either of those other two options.

I’ve gone back to carrying my CS9, it’s not exactly tiny but I’ve had it for a long time and it’s always been super reliable.

Micros were never really my thing anyway. I have large hands, and I like being able to swap to a full size mag for a spare. I’m quite content with my PX4 subcompact and P30sk. The PX4 is 13+1, and Beretta makes a factory sleeve for the 17rd full size magazine to make it a full grip when in use. HK started making higher cap magazines for the P30 and SK versions. If I want to carry anything smaller it’s a 2” Rhino. No complaints. I don’t own any striker handguns. They aren’t for me.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone
