Yep. So are we all on the same page, now? OD P2000 = $799; Black P2000 = $499. Big Grin

Why should the gun itself be fluorescent? Confused

I used to shop with them regularly from 1987 (that's when I turned 18), to 2003 (that's when I moved from CA to AZ).

If you have a bazillion VP9 magazines like I do, I believe they will work in the P2000. It'll just stick out a little.

I was just trying to say the picture of the OD gun makes the OD seem super bright when in reality it’s darker than the pic. Shows.

As for VP9/P30 mags yes all will fit and function as will all USPc mags. Xgrip makes a sleeve for the longer mags. Technically the .40 mags will also function in the 9mm and will load to 15 (with the standard cap mags). While I’ve tinkered with this and never had a functional issue I wouldn’t suggest doing so on a gun used for self defense.

A few months ago, I bought an HK P2000 and a P2000sk (both in 9mm) from my local Turners. If I remember correctly, they were $499 and $450 respectively.

I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot either of these pistols, but they’ve both been on my “To buy” list for the last dozen years.

I was considering a P2000sk in .40S&W because that price is just too good.

It's one I'd like to give a try sometime.
Shot a coworker's USP years ago & liked it, and a suppressed HK45 rental a while back.
Haven't had the P2k in hand.

They have brick-and-mortar stores all around southern California. When I lived in the area I purchased several guns (in person) from the San Bernardino and Riverside locations. Which raises a concern: what magazines come with the guns? Normal capacity or 10-round?

All the Turner’s guns are California compliant. In the case of the P2000 that just means 10 round magazines. Still a very solid deal IMO if these are guns you are interested in.

Recently purchased a p2000 from Turners. Took a few days to process, but communication was excellent and am happy with the transaction. It’s a great price, but apparently it only includes one ten round magazine, so factor that in.

Did you check with them to confirm about getting only one magazine?

All NIB HK’s should come with 2 or 3 mags in the box depending on if they are standard sights or the “LE-A5” models that have night sights and 3 mags.

If they are only coming with one mag it sounds like Turners is doing some mag shenanigans marking the guns low but selling one of the mags separately.

I picked up one of the P2k's from Turners in January and it only came with one mag. I thought those bastards snagged the other mag, but on further inspection of the label on the HK case it came in shows (1) mag included.

Maybe some deal with HK and Turners??

Wow that’s strange. I’ve never seen an HK come with one mag. Maybe old stock from way back manufacturers were having issues sourcing mags???? I remember SIG going single mag for a bit.

Out of curiosity do you have a pic of the label. You can sanitize any serials etc. I really am curious.

The HK P2000 and P2000sk are several of my favorite CCW choices. I do not need any more of them than I already have.
My somewhat insider information is that these models "may" eventually be discontinued for the Europeans.
But they will remain available here in the USA for now. Both are still listed on the HK USA website. They seem to be removed from the HK Germany website.

The R & D for these models was done a long time ago. Jigs, molds, and tooling for production have paid for themselves many times over.
It's a case of shake the money tree occasionally, and see what falls off. Occasionally offer them with different colored frames.

I do have one of the HK P2000 full sized 9mm in OD green. I have no problems at all with the color of the polymer frame.
All of my HK P2000 / P2000sk selections are chambered in 9mm.

cee_Kamp: I notice on your P2000 that there is no two letter date code present, at least I cannot see one. Are they located on the barrel now?

On at least some models, they've moved the two letter date code to the underside of the trigger guard.
