UPDATE Headed to Glock on Monday to replace G19 2nd gen frame
I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing their facility though have had outstanding customer service over the last 20 years and they have taken care of me more than a few times. I used to call and get their promo pack about once every couple years and they would send lanyards, stickers, pens/pencils, keychains, etc. It was a nice gesture.

Yeah, we will be leaving TN early and getting there around noon hopefully. We are staying until Wednesday anyway. Thanks for the area suggestions.

$67 for a set of night sights installed is a damn good price. Shipped my G33 slide there about 10 years ago and I’m sure that’s what I had paid back then.

Just got back from our trip. We were there for about an hour and fifteen minutes.
To sum up, they did the following:

- New 3rd gen frame
- Replaced/rebuilt all innards of slide.
- Replaced the sights with what I requested, Glock metal rear and tritium front sight.
- Test fired.
- Replaced all six of my magazines with NEW ones.
- Total cost- $43.00

To say that I am pleased with the service would be a tremendous understatement.

Outstanding. As I say- other gun manufacturers might learn a thing or two from the well-deserved reputation for customer service of Glock, and the positive PR and good will it generates.

Did the security guard eyeball you like he thought you were mulin' 40 keys of yayo?

Ha, it actually could not have gone easier. He asked why I was there; I told him and then he ensured weapon was safe and sent me through. Unbelievably smooth and yes, other companies should take heed.

Always love hearing about a positive customer service experience.

Well done Glock, well done.

Great support, but it gives me an idea of how little this stuff really costs them to make.

I've heard that stuff for years.

Ask whododat if that matters to him.

Maybe injection molding in Austria and the United States is cheaper than Indian MIM. Who knows, but the good will is priceless.

R&D, advertising, equipment. All those costs make a relatively cheap part not so cheap to sell.

The fact that Glock hasn’t gone up in price in 30 years for the most part is okay by me.

That is awesome and a good way to show what a great customer attention/satisfaction is supposed to be.

I agree with Glock having great customer service.

When my locking block broke on my gen 3 it was a no hassle send it Glock.

Glock paid for the shipping and sent me it back quickly, all fixed up.

FYI. I told the person I dealt with that I will pay whatever the cost is to fix replace things that are needed as the weapon has been one of my favorite carry guns for many years. I FULLY expected to have a higher bill and again, could not be happier with that customer service. Although I do not need another weapon, Glock would be my first choice due to the customer support/service I received firsthand.

When you adjust for inflation, they've gone down in price a lot.

I remember Para posting a photo of the G17.1 he bought back in the '80s w/ original receipt and thinking that it would be equivalent to paying $900-1K for a base G17.5 today.
