Update. Grips received and installed on my X5 Tactical. Enjoy. _______________________________________________ Just saw these walnut grips for the X5, I think they are a good deal. They certainly look like Nill grips but sig branded. Anyway, I ordered a pair. I’ll let everyone know how they look when they come in. This message has been edited. Someone is gonna be in trouble when they realize they are selling $119.99 walnut grips for $19.99…

Oriental Redneck |
This vendor has been selling these for cheap for some time, now. Definitely good alternative for those who refuse to cut an arm in order to buy the Nills. I remember Nills was quite upset, when SIG chose to go this route. Q

Like P-220 ——- I just wish I had a pistol they would fit for that price. Those are beautiful on PGT’s pistol….

They were at like $39.99 for the longest time. Also grabbed these:

I wouldn't mind another set to strip and do in black semi-transparent stain.

Just to be sure these fit the currently US made X5 correct ?

No, not like Bill Clinton |
I wasn't sure what was on mine and it turns out they are Nills. Were these factory or did they originally come with plastic grips?

The Great Equalizer |
Your pistol, X5 competition, shipped with the plastic grips. The standard L-1s (X5 and X6) shipped with the Factory logo Nills manufactured grips The P226 X6s shipped with slightly different Nills grips depending on which variation was chosen ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . . Buy that Classic SIG in All Stainless, No rail wear will be painless. |
Thanks for the tip! I ordered two sets. Sometime in the past I stumbled on some OEM TXDPS grips at CDNN Sports for my TXDPS SAO 226 and snagged a set of those also. NRA Benefactor Life Member NRA Instructor USPSA Chief Range Officer

They have been selling them for under $20 for several years now, I bought mine about 2 years ago, but they arrived with a crack on one side, called CDNN and they sent a new pair, great company to deal with.

OP, thanks for the heads up. From the CDNN website I found the SKU number SIG1202947. I did a Google search on that SKU to find other sellers providing more detail what they fit and what they don't fit. Just wanted to add this for anyone looking to buy that may not be totally familiar what they are. Thanks

Baroque Bloke |
OP, those grips look great! My P226 X5 Competition came with cheap-looking plastic grips. I replaced those with Hogue G10 G-Mascus black-gray checkered grips. Very attractive, in their own way (and very practical too). Serious about crackers

I also got a couple of those a year or two ago when they also had the ones with the round SIG logo. These are on my Tactical X5s.
