I'll probably be picking up a Gen 5 MOS soon...just too tempting. I realized that I have an old Docter Optic sitting in my parts bin that's never been used on anything. Will it work with the Glock MOS cut? The sight is probably at least 10 years old. I got it used from a member hear long ago. Ideally I'd dive in with an RMR or something, but I've got a miniature reflex sitting around already, so why not start there. ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.

It should. MOS comes with adaptor plates to fit the following sights. https://us.glock.com/learn/glock-pistols/mos "MOS ADAPTER PLATE OPTIONS - VIEW STORE 00 Cover Plate 01 Eotech / Docter / Insight / Meopta 05* 02 Trijicon RMR 06* 03 C-MORE 07* 04 Leupold Delta Point 08*"

IIRC Vortex uses the Docter Optic pattern mount, so this video is topical... Link to original video: https://youtu.be/KJhacPaCJ6w

Had a problem with the Doctor optic as the "hood." Kept falling off, expensive to replace. Upgraded to RMR which is much better. U.S. Army 11F4P Vietnam 69-70 NRA Life Member
