I really feel the SIG P226 was designed for my hand with ergonomics, size and fitment. Regular trigger, not the short reach version.
With aluminum frames and folded carbon steel slides, I don't really like the P226 pistol balance point.
Stainless steel frames and milled stainless steel slides completely fixes that personal perceived balance issue for me.

The HK45 is a close second place.

M1911, Beretta 92, and Sig P226\228\229\P320. They all point naturally.

I take it you prefer the increased “muzzle-heaviness” of the later P226 iterations?

My S&W 6906 fits me like a glove.

Sig 225 does a great job of it.

The 9mm sized S&W M&P fits me like it was molded from my very own hand.

And I can not shoot one worth a damn. Not at all. Sold it right quick, so very disappointing.

I bonded with the SIG P220 the first time I picked one up 25 years ago.

Glock 19 Gen 5.

I've always found the 1911s very comfortable. But I no longer have any though I have usually had one or more since I was issued my first as a young 19 year old Sergeant in Vietnam. I do have a Smith M&P Shield in 45 which, though not a perfect fit in my hands, fills my "need" for a 45.

Two more modern guns work for me just about perfectly. The slim line Glocks, especially the 43X.

I was gonna put a Grit Grip module on one of mine, but, upon further consideration, realized that I really liked the factory grip and was just spending money on something not needed.

The second is the Sig P365 but NOT in factory configuration, rather with the addition of the Wilson Combat Grip Module. I tried many times to love the P365 before finding Wilson's , but each time was a failure. Now I have several, all with the Wilson Combat Grip Module. Great gun, great shooter, and perfect fit with the addition of the Wilson Grip Module.

The third firearm which is not a perfect fit to my hand is close-the S&W Bodyguard 2.0. It's just a little bit too small in circumference to fit perfectly, yet I shoot it very well and have it with me all the time. I recently broke down and bought the 2.0 Carry Comp, but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I want to see if it will tame the recoil and muzzle flip of the Underwood ammo I carry in 380.

I don't have huge hands, but usually wear an XL comfortably in various gloves I have owned.

How can so many different guns be “perfect” for just one hand? Strange, but they are.

Have yet to handle the Gen6 G19.
