Step by step walk the thousand mile road

My P320 compact has a few thousand rounds through it since I bought it years ago (2015?).

I took her to the range, and after inserting the magazine and chambering a cartridge, I noted it wasn't quite in battery. So, I removed the magazine, ejected and inspected the cartridge finding nothing unusual about it.

I set that first cartridge aside, and try number two in the magazine. It chambers just fine, but "CLICK!"

WTF?

Suffice to say, that happened again and again.

So back at the house I take the pistol apart and find nothing obvious.

I take the FCU out and discover the sear is not working properly.

Tear the FCU apart and I find a broken sear spring. Whoddathunk?

Has anyone else broken a P320 sear spring?

Oh, new parts are on the way.

I have yet to encounter that. I'd be interested to see pics as well.
