P239 .40 frame
Just picked up a like new older P239 in 40 serial SA 4-84xxx at my LGS. Came with 2 mags, correct labeled black Sigarms case, paperwork and Sig factory paddle holster. Paid $425 which seems like a great price. Looks like it was made late 2000. Question frame does not say made in Germany. Only serial number on it. Were the alloy frames for the 239 made in Garmany during this time period? Seems like my recollection is NH did not make these frames. Also are the prices of these dropping since they are discontinued?

The frame of my SA4 111XXX was made in Germany and is so marked.

Yes made in Germany but likely assembled here in the US. During that time Sig did that alot. I have a 220, 226, 2 239's and a 229 that are all the same way.

I know that Exeter made the the stainless slide and possibly the barrel. Just was wondering why my frame is not marked.

Looks like I’m a answering my own question since I saw pics online of early 239’s and the frames did not say made in Germany on them. I Should have looked before posting folks.
