New to me Sig p229 40 cal, need assistance for born on date

A friend of mine recently donated his brothers Sig p229 40 cal to me after he passed away recently.
It came in a black " Sig Arms case with a multi language manual, 2 10 round mags. It is in great shape , no rail, Serial number AD 361##

Any idea of what year it was made?

If you look at the first stickied thread in this section, it looks to be from '93 or '94.
Born on dates...

Thanks, It has been a while since I was on the forum and totally forgot about that thread. I am just excited to add another Sig to my collection.
