Master of one hand pistol shooting |
I have had for quite a while a 239T. Great pistol and it fits my hand well, trigger breaks with little sight shift on dryfire, and points aligned naturally. Then I got a 225A. I think it is even better. I really wish, hope, and want badly for Sig to provide 225A magazine bottoms for the 239 magazines so either gun will take the same magazine. The mag tubes are exactly the same as far as I can tell. I got several 239 mags. Also I put a regular 239 barrel in place of the threaded barrel BTW I have 2 mags for the original 225, one is bright metal (stainless?), and also a packmayr wraparound grip. I guess I need to find an original 225..... To expose my complete Sig stock add that there are also 228 and 220 both mid 90s German, and a 226 -9mm SIGnature NRA Benefactor CMP Pistol Distinguished

The mag tubes are the same. Interesting thought on the floorplates. I had the chance to use an A1 last week as another range member brought one. She is into single stack pistols (G43/42) and the plan is for this to become a nightstand gun. My observation with use is that It shoots like a much bigger pistol due to its grip and ergo’s. It’s SRT trigger was nothing short of superb. ______________________________________________ Life is short. It’s shorter with the wrong gun…

It would be ideal if Sig would let loose with some 225A mag bases. Come on Sig, get with the plan. I am tempted to see if the 239 10 shot mag bases can be file trimmed to fit the 225 SIGnature NRA Benefactor CMP Pistol Distinguished
