Looks like a small vp9 with p2000 grip.

Not sure if I will leave p365 for this.

Well since HK hates me I know I must buy one. Big Grin

This must be the end result of that patent submittal that they submitted a couple of years back. Took a lot longer than I thought it would, but it's here.......

Adding the Canik METE MC9 and this HK, the micro 9 world is definitely getting pretty crowded.

… and I just made a promise to myself not to buy a other firearm for a few days. Big Grin I understand it’s just out of prototype phase so I guess I’m ok.

Will it have the standard HK trigger that feels like a staple gun, along with the awful paddle mag release? Oh boy!

PADDLE RELEASE 4EVA!!!!! Smile. Seriously though I do prefer it.

From what I have read and gleaned over the past few months.
-Paddle or button options
-FCU ala SIG P320/365
-Different frame options (see FCU above) a railed frame for lights etc. and an slick frame at launch
-Optics cut or an optics cut option.
-Micro 9 1 inch thick, stack and a half blah blah.
-Trigger should basically be VP9 esque. Now while I am not a huge VP9 fan they do have fairly good striker fired triggers. I mean they aren’t Walther PPQ/PDP but they are a nice trigger for a striker gun.
-At least a year out
-Like most HK products, supposedly came at the behest of some agency or another (MIL/LEO I don’t know) that has a need for basically a hide out/deep cover piece.
-HK no longer hates you they just hold a healthy disdain for you. Razz
-My own SWAG is these will be competitively priced like the VP9 as that model seems to be working for them.

It LOOKS like it will be a fairly well thought out gun and only like 5 years late to the party so……progress Smile

Ohh and IIRC there is some kind of trigger option or choice. Not sure what this is though.

As an HK guy I should be stoked. Alas, this is so unexciting I can’t believe it. Oooh, another striker fired 10 shot micro. It says HK but I’m not a fanboy so is it better enough to unseat the 365, Shield, Hellcat? Doubt it.

Make this with a LEM trigger and keep the paddle and add an optic cut and I would buy 2.

I am the same way. It looks like a really solid offering in the space but so are the other proven options.

I have not really gotten into the “micro 9” thing myself. The only gun in this space that I have handled that really sort of made endorphin gland perk up is the SIG P365 Macro and I have not been too keen on SIG for a long time now but that 365 Macro sort of calls to me. Tiny (in its own right), feels good in the hand, feature rich etc. etc. the P365 never grabbed me but the Macro does for some reason.

All that said the HK LOOKS like it will be a fantastic entry to this market segment.

I like my HKs, and I'm w/ you. So far, nothing about it catches my eye nor piques my interest vs other micro 9s already on the market, and I bet it'll cost at least 50% more than a Shield Plus or Canik MC9, and its mags will cost $50-60.

LEM trigger would require completely redesigning the gun from striker to hammer fired and losing the FCU.

I hold H&K firearms in high regard. I’m just not interested in this personally but I’m glad they finally released an option for a micro 9mm or as micro as it gets for H&K.

I love the P320 and P365 platforms. I’ll be sticking with those.

I like that they kept the wings on the slide, for easier manipulation. The texture differences on the sides vs. front/back of the frame appeal to me for a iwb/ccw pistol, as it doesn't seem it would be an irritant on the skin.

I do like the wings. As for LEM, I would trade modular for LEM. If you buy for modularity, nobody is going to beat the 365.

I just picked up my HK P30 SKS yesterday. I really like it and I don't think I would be interested in the micro described above.

I like the VP9 so I would take a look at it. My guess is it will sell for $650ish.

I’m not a fan of the full size vp9 but I am a fan of the VP9sk, I’d be interested in one if and when they make it to the states
