I have a new Sig P220 45 Legion, it's a great gun, however the mag-release is very hard to activate, to the point I have to reposition my hand to put enough pressure on it to release the mag. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you fix it? Thanks | ||

A bit more info might be needed here. Any idea what’s causing the issue? Does the mag release bind or feel tight when pressed or is it smooth? Does it feel the same with every mag? Does it feel overly tight with or without a mag inserted? Is the release properly lubricated in the channel that crosses the grip? Is this your first or only P220? I carried one for years that was dead reliable and smooth but watched folks with smaller hands need to shift hand placement to reliably actuate the mag release.
