I put 50 rounds through a rented 43X today and have owned a P239 in .40 for 15 years. They're night and day. Love them both, but for different reasons.

Glock smaller with a poor trigger, 239 excellent trigger and a 357 Sig option to step up power. U.S. Army 11F4P Vietnam 69-70 NRA Life Member

I have both. Never really considered them direct competitors. For some reason I really don't shoot my 239 very well. I'm extremely accurate with my 228, 229, 226.... just not the 239. I'm replacing an M&P Shield with a 43X. I'll try to take some pics of the 43X and 239 for comparison. ------------------------------------- Some old German classic Sigs and some new polymer Sigs...

My P239 in 9mm and 357 Sig is a laser on target. My G48, not so much (G48 has a little linger barrel and slide over the G43X)....With that said, at CCW distance the G48 is fine. What I really like about the G48 is that fully loaded with 124 grain ammo, it's only 24.7 oz vs the P239 9mm loaded is 31.8 oz. Maybe not a lot of weight on paper, but it adds up after a day of carrying.

The tough part is finding a 239 in 357 sig to handle. Love my Sigs but carry my Glocks
