Problem Installing Holoson sights
How in the world does one get the screws out of the plate on a 365XL ? I'm afraid I'm going to strip the screw heads. I've tried everything

Might have loctite on threads, try a hot soldering tip on the screw head for a few seconds to heat it up.

gigalligan. I think all of them have loctite on the threads and I've tried heat. I don't want to send it back to the factory if I can help it. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

You say you’ve tried everything but just confirming: have you tried a butane torch on the screw heads until you see smoke? Followed by a fresh bit installed in an impact driver?

1KPerDay,
great idea. And I guess I have not tried everything.
I'll get on it.
Again, thanks

Did you take a close look at the screws? They are Torx screws and not allen types. Sometimes an allen wrench will turn them but most of the time all it does it mess them up. If you didn't notice that get a Torx in the correct size. I recently obtained a new 365 with an optic plate from the factory. After reading your trouble, I checked mine and they came right out, very easy.

"Clips" go in women's hair and magazines are used in weapons.

I learned this the hard way on one of my pistols. Finally got out after realizing I had to purchase the correct head set, then the screws had to go into the trash after getting out.
