Almost exactly a year ago, I begged, borrowed, and traded to buy my first Wilson Combat 45acp 1911. Well, perusing my LGS used case, this CQB jumped out at me. It's a 2007 build that looks like it just left the factory, and I figured that since I have not shot any other handgun I own since buying the first Wilson, no harm in trading a few in so this one could come home with me.

Sweet!

I've had to make a few deals to get the Sig I wanted and traded around several times. Finding and getting the one that jumps out at you makes the effort worthwhile.

Let us know how it shoots.

Took her out for a stroll this morning. 400+ flawless rounds at 25 and 50 yard bowling pins. What a wonderful pistol. Shot the target below on the way out (circle is 1 inch). Pleasant surprise last night, front sight tritium was easily visible. A little dim but I thought I would have to change it right away. I'll probably get at least another year or 2 out of it. I guess I'll have to keep her.

The green of the frame almost perfectly matches the shade of envy I feel.

Nice!

Very cool pistol. Is the green a factory finish they did? I kinda like it.

Finish is a trademarked "Armor-Tuff" OD green and it's still a factory option.

That is exactly like my CQB. My favorite 1911. Well I guess my Vickers Custom build is my fave. But I haven't shot it. But honestly the CQB is 98% of the Vickers at half the price.

Nice grab, my sole Wilson is a few years older version of yours that I picked up locally off Armslist of all places for a very fair price. Been a pleasure to shoot once I figured out it shoots the best with Wilson mags. Will be sending the slide out soon for a refresh of the sights and I'll be ready to rock with it for many years to come. I'm also going to swap the grips for ones like you have as I really like how that Starburst pattern looks.

Happy shooting!
